In life, there is no substitute for experience. It’s the shortest route to wisdom I know.
But there is much to be said for reading a book capable of firing the imagination,
without which all we learn in life is of lesser value.

I have always lived life the way I see fit, searching out adventure and experience in as many fields as possible, attempting to fully understand the world we inhabit and the people in it, without bending to convention unless that convention makes sense and is just. I watch human progress with curiosity, interest and trepidation as I contemplate how changing trends will affect us as people, and, despite some emerging, well intentioned attempts at course correction, I'm not entirely convinced that we will turn things around enough or in time to avoid the tragic consequences awaiting if we should fail.
My intention in writing? To open windows of contemplation on things that some may not have time or the inclination in their demanding lives to ponder. To examine the human spirit and to find where the spiritual connection leads. Currently based near the coast, twenty miles south of Adelaide, South Australia.
It's a full-time job surviving, keeping the wolves from the door. My rural heritage sees me enjoying time in my backyard garden, but my mind is seldom far from the next story, and each afternoon I can be found at the word processor, playing!
A Word To My Readers
I try and focus on particular aspects of life, the realm (or stage) in which we exist (or perform), and what it is to be human, endowed with supposed intelligence.
